Attending NYC public schools as a first-generation student, I felt the pressure firsthand — state tests, navigating applications, specialized schools, and the list goes on. I always wished I had an older mentor to lean on.
In high school, I became an instructor at Kumon to be that source of inspiration for younger students. After a few months, I realized that most students thrive from 1-on-1 support and personalized help, which was the catalyst for starting my tutoring service.
Now studying at Harvard, I hand-select every tutor on our team — not just for grades, but for the patience, commitment, and relatability that actually make a difference.
