The Holiday Break Has Arrived! Why Is It The Perfect Time To Recharge? ☺️

By the time December rolls around, it’s possible for any child, student, or adult to reach their maximum work management and become burnt out. The arrival of the holidays, tests, extracurriculars and even cold weather can drain us mentally and physically. Luckily, our time off is a perfect opportunity to recharge our bodies. ❄️🧘


“Recharging” doesn’t mean taking on more responsibilities. Recharging should remind us what accomplishments we’ve achieved and what future steps we should take. Here are some examples of recharging:

  1. Spending time enjoying a personal activity (ex: reading, watching TV, staying in)

  2. Getting fresh air

  3. Setting healthy and positive goals for the new year

  4. Reflecting on personal habits and past experiences

  5. Using time to complete tasks that have been pushed to the side


This break, as the Smarts4Heart team recharges, we wish all families and children a time of peace and happiness while recharging as well. By the end of break, children can return back to their routines healthier and stronger with the support of parents and babysitters by their side. ❤️
