How Can You Really Help Your Child With Homework? 3 Strategies That Make a Difference 🍎


Homework can be tough, not just mentally but physically as well. But no need to worry, because the Smarts4Heart team has 3 simple yet effective solutions that are beneficial for any student/parent to know! Read these 3 below:

  1. Movement… can reduce stress and encourage focus. An easy example is a quick walk or dance break before starting any work! 🕺

  2. Pomodoro technique… splits homework into short 25 minute blocks with 5 minute breaks in between each block to avoid any burnout or tension. 🕝

  3. Wiggle pillow trick… helps a learner release energy through wiggling and shifting by placing a pillow or cushion on a chair. This motivates a student by creating a comfortable space to work! 🪑

It’s important to teach our bodies how to adapt to a working environment so we can study in healthy conditions and strengthen ourselves for future tasks. With every homework or activity a child tackles, we aim to apply these 3 solutions! 💪
