When it comes to tutoring, the Smarts4Heart team is strongly prepped to work with all children—including the shy ones! Our tutors understand that not all children express themselves easily—but they also understand that there are various ways to work with quiet learners. 🙌
📚😁 During tutoring sessions, our tutors use these 3 tools to develop children’s speech confidence:
Starting with simple prompts: asking students to read aloud and ask questions helps them feel comfortable with speaking up.
Making it interactive: promoting students to physically interact with their learning material through circling answers and highlighting words deepens understanding and comprehension.
Using a feedback loop: asking open ended questions to truly test a student’s grasp of the material allows the tutor to effectively evaluate their teaching methods and figure out what path is necessary for their student.
Considering a student’s learning process is a key factor in the teaching mechanisms used by the tutors of Smarts4Heart. As tutors, our goal is to provide all students the strongest learning experience possible! 💪
